Terms of use

1. The service

The platform lets an institution publish points of interest (texts, photos, audio recordings) that visitors open by scanning QR codes, and see visit statistics.

2. Account

A registration becomes active once the operator approves it. The institution is responsible for keeping passwords safe, for the users it creates and for their actions, and for the accuracy of its data.

3. Content

The institution guarantees that it holds the rights to all content it publishes (copyright, licences, credits for authors of photos and texts) and that the content is lawful.

The institution grants the operator a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content solely in order to provide the service. The operator may remove content that is clearly unlawful and will inform the institution.

4. Plan and limits

The number of points and other limits follow the agreed plan. Fees are agreed and invoiced outside the platform.

5. Personal data (data processing agreement)

For the accounts of its staff and for visit statistics, the institution is the controller and the operator is the processor (Art. 28 GDPR). The operator processes the data only to provide the service and on the institution's instructions as set out in these terms, keeps it confidential, and uses Microsoft Azure (EU) as a sub-processor.

The operator helps the institution respond to data subjects' requests and, after the service ends, deletes the institution's data. Details on what is processed and for how long are in the privacy policy.

6. Availability

The operator strives to keep the platform running without interruption and makes regular backups, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

7. Suspension and termination

In case of a breach of these terms or unpaid fees, the operator may block sign-in to the administration or temporarily switch off public content, after prior notice where possible.

The institution may end the use at any time. On request, the institution with all its data, photos and recordings is permanently deleted; statistics can be exported beforehand (CSV).

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damage or for the content that institutions publish.

9. Changes and governing law

The operator informs institutions of changes to these terms in advance; continued use means acceptance. Croatian law applies; disputes are resolved by the competent court at the operator's seat.
